about
My name is Julia Ho, and I am a second year at the University of Southern California pursuing majors in public relations and advertising as well as comparative literature, along with a minor in fashion.
This interdisciplinary path combines my interests in strategic communication and cultural analysis, allowing me to explore storytelling through both business and literary lenses. My passion lies at the intersection of creative expression and social equity, particularly in studying how fashion, cultural cognizance, and visual communication can advance inclusivity. I'm particularly drawn to examining diversity, equity, and inclusion in corporate communications and hope to explore how organizations can create more representative messaging that resonates authentically with diverse audiences.
Looking ahead, I aim to advocate for positive change, whether by protecting creative works through IP entertainment law or advancing LGBTQ+ or bodily autonomy rights through legislative work, or pitching new ideas targeting audience outreach and intercommunication for non-profit organizations. My unique academic foundation equips me to understand and leverage the complex relationships between media, culture, and social justice.
